Our niche accommodations are ideal for the history appreciative traveler looking to unwind in the heart of Northern Michigan. The Hanson House, originally constructed in 1890 was where local lumber baron Rasmus Hanson and family called home. The beautifully adorned Victorian Era house turned inn has many original reverences of Hanson’s time in Grayling throughout the four boutique rooms and common areas. Enjoy the privacy of your own luxurious king suite equipped with your own electric fireplace and attached bathroom. Each unique room offers a new experience during your stay. Our main level boasts a grand dining room and multiple sitting rooms for guests to gather or relax, plus wifi internet access, in room televisions, and partnerships with local businesses to highlight your experience during your stay in the Grayling area. The AuSable and Manistee Rivers as well as many local lakes offer great swimming, boating and water activities in the spring, summer, and fall, while substantial winter snow makes for desirable cross-country skiing and snowmobiling conditions in and around Grayling.
